The Kabul Marathon began in 2025 due to an intrepid group of dedicated runners and downright adventerous individuals wanting to try and run Marathons in every country. In late 2024, there was no option for individuals wanting to run along side Afghan locals. That's why in April 2025, we started the first Kabul Marathon.
The 2026 Kabul Marathon will be the second edition of this event and no doubt more exciting than the first.
Runners of all standards are invited to join this unique and adventurous event.
Our team
We have been running tours and organising events in countries all around the world for more than 12 years and over 8 of those we have been working in Afghanistan. Our team is extremely passionate about off-the-beaten path locations and making travel to these destinations more accessible.
