Event Location

Due to the security precautions that need to be taken for an event of this kind, the exact location of the 2026 Kabul Marathon will only be available to entrants and their supporters.

Who can join?

Unfortunately, at the moment only males can enter the Kabul Marathon. This event is being held with authorisation and protection from the current government of Afghanistan. As such, we are required to follow their restrictions and meet their expectations. Females are welcome to come and experience the event from the sidelines, but are currently unable to run.

Running in Kabul was exhilarating! The atmosphere was electric, and the organization was top-notch. Loved it!
